The Alta Labs S8-PoE is a compact, managed 8-port Gigabit PoE+ switch designed for small offices, branch locations, retail sites, and edge deployments where space efficiency and simplicity are critical. Combining PoE power delivery, intelligent switching features, and cloud-based management, the S8-PoE is an ideal solution for powering access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones, and IoT devices in low-to-medium density environments.

The switch provides 8 × 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, with 4 ports supporting 802.3at PoE+, delivering a total 60W PoE budget. This enables reliable power and data delivery to modern edge devices without the need for additional power supplies. The remaining non-PoE ports support standard network connectivity for uplinks or downstream devices.

Deployment is streamlined through Bluetooth-based provisioning, allowing installers to onboard the switch quickly using the Alta mobile app without pre-configuration. Once deployed, the S8-PoE integrates seamlessly with the Alta cloud management platform, providing centralised visibility, monitoring, and configuration across single or multi-site environments.
