The Alta Labs Route10 is a high-performance 10 Gbps router engineered to deliver enterprise-grade routing, security, and multi-WAN capability at a disruptive price point. Designed as the core of the Alta Labs ecosystem, Route10 enables organisations to build an end-to-end network using a single, unified platform—without compromising on throughput, resilience, or control.
Powered by a quad-core Qualcomm 2.2 GHz network accelerator, Route10 delivers up to 25 Gbps combined throughput and supports 37.5 million packets per second, making it suitable for demanding environments ranging from advanced home networks to SMBs, campuses, and high-density venues. Four autosensing 2.5 Gbps RJ45 ports, including two PoE+ ports, provide flexible copper connectivity, while two 10 Gbps SFP+ ports support high-capacity fibre or DAC uplinks.
Route10 offers extensive multi-WAN support across Ethernet and SFP+, with configurable failover and load balancing. Advanced traffic shaping using CAKE ensures ultra-low latency for real-time applications, while integrated security features—including stateful firewalling, IDS/IPS at 10 Gbps, DPI, and NAT controls—deliver robust network protection without sacrificing performance.
Native VPN capabilities include IPsec site-to-site, mobile clients, WireGuard, L2TP/IPsec, and IKEv2, with additional features such as OpenVPN scheduled for post-launch release. Centralised management is available via the Alta Networks mobile app or web interface, with Bluetooth-assisted onboarding enabling fast, installer-friendly deployment.
